Wood chewing is a bad habit, and one that would be best broken, if possible. It usually comes out of boredom. Try more turn-out for her, or if this does not help, try feeding her free-choice hay all day long. The main thing is to keep her busy. Perhaps a companion (even a small goat) would occupy her. At last resort, a grazing muzzle may work. Good luck.
